A Busy Time of Life

It is a great thing that our wedding is just a bit under a year away! Justin and I are so busy right now. He is getting MSA ready for school to start and working for his other clients.

I have just started my fourth year of college, but I will have an extra year before I finish.  I am majoring in Lutheran Classroom teacher-social studies.  I hope to be teaching in an LCMS high school in two years, God willing.

So since we are so busy, we are not making much progress on anything wedding related!

I do have my dress ordered, which will arrive in October.  I am so excited about that!  When I went to Germany this past May, I was on the airplane looking over a wedding magazine and I found my dream dress.  I just cannot wait to actually try it on!

My bridesmaids and I have also picked out their dresses.  It is early, but we all won’t be in the same state until maybe a day in January, and then in June.  We have not ordered them, but we picked out the colors.  Which makes our official wedding colors are cranberry and ivory.

We will try to keep you all updated on our planning and news.  Please comment on our posts and keep checking back!

What an awesome idea, you two! A website about the entire journey, the decisions, the funny mishaps, even tips?! That’s going to make for some great reading. Thanks for letting us all be a part of it–hopefully I can use your advice for when I get married someday. (*knock on wood*) I’m so happy for you both.
    Love ya,
    Corinne
    ps: Love the wedding colors!

Cool website, one of you must be a tech freak to think of this. The RSVP link is very funny, but i can’t wait to get my invite. I check the mail box every day and it doesn’t come (this makes every day like a emotional train wreck). So to make me feel better you should make me your flower girl

Cute website – love the design. Glad you guys have made such progress on your wedding planning. We’re still in the process of selecting the location. I think we have it, just need to rule out all other possibilities.

    See you again soon!

I also agree that Brad should be the flower girl. Not only would it add for comical relief (why that’s needed, I’m not sure but it’s always helpful), but it would also make a great photo opportunity.

    Anyway… yay for weddings!

I love your website, Justin and Amber! I am so excited to see the gorgeous dress that Amber has chosen, and I am rootin’ for charcoal and ivory for Justin’s tuxedo. However, Justin looks good in black as well.
It is true, that the bridesmaid dress is lovely, and that cranberry and ivory will be beautiful. There was an adorable flower girl dress we saw for Sierra, (sorry Brad), but Amber wants to wait a bit.
Now I would like to lose a few pounds before the mother-of- the- bride dress is selected, and maybe Pat (who doesn’t need to lose weight) and I can shop together for the mother- of -the -groom dress as well.

    God’s blessings on you both!
    Love,
    Mom

I think a Brad as flower girl would be very nice. Is this the same Brad that David knows from WLC? I think Brad and Billy had some kind of ceremony if I’m not mistaken, so this would be very fitting.
